Information used by Prepverse
Prepverse stores study settings, syllabus progress, goals, revision dates, Merit state, and study activity on your device. If you create an account, we use your email address and a service account identifier to authenticate you. We also back up your display name, chosen exam, target year, optional subject, language, selected study preferences, syllabus progress, revision dates, and Merit state to provide your private account backup.
Prepverse AIR (Aspirant Impact Rank) is optional and off by default. If you choose to join, Prepverse shares a generated alias and your eligible Merit total on the optional Prepverse board. You can explicitly choose to show your first name instead of that alias; your full name, email address, profile photo, private plan, and notes are not shown. You can leave at any time; leaving removes your shared board events.
Date of birth or age and mobile number are optional. If you choose to add them, they, your profile photo, local notes, imported files or PDFs, and Obsidian vault files stay on your device in the current version. They are not sent to Prepverse’s cloud backup service.
How we use information
We use account and study-plan information only to authenticate you, provide your personal study plan, maintain your private backup, secure the service, and answer support requests. Our authentication provider may record connection-security data such as IP address and user agent in authentication and service audit logs to protect sign-in, prevent abuse, and investigate security events. We do not sell personal data, use advertising trackers, or create advertising profiles.
Service providers and links
Prepverse uses Supabase for authentication and the private backup described above. Prepverse can show user-initiated links to PIB, RBI, PRS, and Obsidian; those services apply their own policies when you open them.
Your choices
You may use the public browsing areas without an account. You may sign out in the app at any time. To permanently delete your Prepverse account and private backup, open Settings → Prepverse account & cloud → Delete Prepverse account. Deleting your account also clears Prepverse data from that device. Your separate Obsidian vault is not controlled by Prepverse and is not deleted.
Retention and security
We keep account backup data while your account exists. We use access controls so that a signed-in user can access only their own private data. No system can promise absolute security; keep your device and account secure.
